IBM is one of the largest providers of IT solutions and services in the world. The first IBM branch in the Czech Republic was founded already in 1932; it was the first branch in Central and Eastern Europe and the sixth branch in Europe.
The predominant activities of IBM in Prague include the sale of a wide spectrum of IT technologies, ranging from servers and data storage systems up to software and IT services including consulting.

- advocating advantages of an e-shop for the day-to-day life of companies
An integral part of the IBM strategy consists of corporal social responsibility programs, which contribute to solving environmental and social problems of the society. In terms of business turnover, scope of offered services or the number of employees, the position of IBM in the Czech Republic is the same as anywhere else in the world.
