Infrastructure Specialist

Job description

You will have responsibility for:

Installing servers and make them alive.
Compiling SW binaries on Power Systems.
Preparing Docker Images.
Working with Nvidia GPUs (Nvidia-docker).
Managing Docker images.
Working with IBM ICP (IBM platform for Docker Containers like Kubernetes) and other IBM SW.
Preparing Docker images for AI users (TensorFlow, Python, OpenCV, etc…).
Communication with clients and other IBM labs

What will you do here?

Get familiar with IBM portfolio from HW to IBM products.
Get familiar with Power architecture.
Porting SW from x86 to Power.
Manage/prepare Docker images.
Manage the infrastructure lifecycle (HW setup, OS installation, drivers installation, networking, etc…).
Cooperate with other members of team (architects, developers).
Communicate with other stakeholders.
20-40 hours per a week.

Requirements

Docker knowledge.
Infrastructure knowledge.
Linux knowledge.
A taste for learning new skills.
English knowledge.
